This Nationally accredited practical course will provide:

In Design and Technology Departments ‘initial training’ on the Specialist Extension Level: S1HS WOOD SAWING MACHINES
The course is suitable if you require a new certificate on this range of machines. This is not a refresher course for those who already have certificates or whose certificates have recently expired. The course consists of practical exercises during the day.
Machines covered will include:
- Circular saw
- Narrow band saw
- Radial Arm/Chop Saw
If you have recently completed the D&TA ‘Core’ Elements Trai and have submitted your portfolio of evidence for accreditation, you will be able to add this unit to your D&TA accreditation.
Please note – Certification is valid for a period of 5 years.
