DESCRIPTION:This Nationally accredited practical course will provide: \n\nTeachers\nTechnicians\nSupport staff/Premises Staff\n\nIn Design and Technology Departments ‘initial training’ on the Specialist Extension Level: S9HS Portable Power Tools \nDuring the day\, delegates will undertake a variety of practical exercises to prepare them to safely use a range of portable power tools at work. These include:  Angle grinder  Jigsaw  Portable circular Saws Radial Arm/Mitre saw  Biscuit jointer  Portable power plane and Routers \nIf you have recently completed the D&TA ‘Core’ Elements Training\, and have submitted your portfolio of evidence\, you will be able to add this unit to your D&TA accreditation. \nPlease note – Certification is valid for a period of 5 years.\nACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE PRICE INCREASED BY DATA (as from March 1st 2025)\, £26.40 TO £30\, VAT INCLUDED.
