DESCRIPTION:This Nationally accredited practical course will provide: \n\nTeachers\nTechnicians\nSupport staff/Premises Staff\n\nIn Design and Technology Departments ‘initial training’ on the Specialist Extension Level: S1HS WOOD SAWING MACHINES \nThe course is suitable if you require a new certificate on this range of machines. This is not a refresher course for those who already have certificates or whose certificates have recently expired. The course consists of practical exercises during the day. \nMachines covered will include: \n\nCircular saw\nNarrow band saw\nRadial Arm/Chop Saw\n\nIf you have recently completed the D&TA ‘Core’ Elements Trai and have submitted your portfolio of evidence for accreditation\, you will be able to add this unit to your D&TA accreditation.
